Burning DVD w/ Arabesk 5

Really simple question (I think):

I just burned my first DVD w/ Arabesk 5. Seems to have come out fine and plays on both Samsung & Sony playuers (which I previosuly had issues with). ~ 170 minute DVD took ~ 36 hours to 'Add Film' prior to burn. I inadvertantly neglected to first 'Create' storyboard in FINISH window prior to completing 'Add Film" in the Arabesk screen. My question is what does this mean for the footage on the burned disc? Does the 'Create' function in the FINISH window need to be comopleted prior to doing 'Add Film' in ARABESK screen or is the function of the 'Create' function in FINISH window solely for exporting HDV footage to tape? I have always comopleted both actions prior to burning discs and am now thinking that wasn't needed unless I wanted to both a) export HDV footage to tape and b) burn HD footage on disc. So to summarize are they just separate functions depennding on what you want to do? Use 'Create' function in FINISH window to export HDV footage to tape and use 'Add Film' function in ARABESK window to burn HD footage to disc. Do I have this right?

Yes you do, have it right - horses for courses.

With the new Render Booster the 'finish' option isn't actually accelerated but 'all' the Arabesk stuff is.
Therefore (I think) in future people will just go straight to Arabesk as it's a much quicker job and then use the Project Back-up (or OPT in the EDit window) to "save" files individually as these function also can be boosted.

Is the "RENDER BOOSTER" a new software purchase, and avaliable in the United States?

A hardware USB device with software (and Bogart v5 is necessary too).

You can also 'buy' one piece of hardware and two software codes - if you have two Bogart machines so the you can move the USB device between machines.

I'm sure it'll be in the US soon enough :D
