Have you selected which input you are using in the audio record menu?

Re: S-3000 Microphone issue
The "S" series machines are equipped with a standard PC motherboard. This input is designed to support microphones with a higher impedance. They are meant more for microphones with an impedance of 2200 Ohms. These are the type of mics you might use on PC system (headset type mics) and won't be that great in terms of quality.
For better quality, you may also use a Samson CO1U or CO3U.

Yes I have. I have even tried different microphones. They worked fine with my Prestige. Thanksgarymcnally wrote:Have you selected which input you are using in the audio record menu?

Why would both of my microphones work with the Prestige and not the S-3000?Operations wrote:The "S" series machines are equipped with a standard PC motherboard. Re: S-3000 Microphone issue
I have a PC mic with a pink male mini plug on the end and it still doesn't work.
