"S"4K TIP

If you accidently power-down with a DVD or CD in the drive of the S4000 PRO, a different unfamiliar menu may appear on powering-up.

This menu will have a PROMPT that displays, SMART EDIT and CUSTOMER.

To get back to the original BOGARTSE menu, simply HIGHLIGHT the word CUSTOMER via the keyboard and press the ENTER key on the keyboard.

This will take you back to the original BOAGARTSE menu at which time you can remove the DVD or CD from the drive.

A small tip worthy of saving.

Thanks Lou, for the tip.
But I wonder about the PROMT, what has SmartEdit to do with Bogart? :o

Lou,
there is a EJECT button on the front panel, doesn't this work if a CD/DVD is in the burner?

NOPE...not until powered back up. Hit CUSTOMER here in NTSC land and you are in business.

YES.......I am a firm believer of a full install. Gets rid of residual situations in any type of operating system.
