Beachy:

Take the ball of of the mouse and check the little window on the inside of the mouse to make sure it is not conered with dust or junk. If that little window is not clean the it cannot see the roller ball move. Is the second mouse a new one or used?

Beachy,
just a thought, try your PC mouse if it's a wired one on your Avio.
Connect your old Aviosaurus mouse to PC, does it work here?
Just to be sure it's the mouse and not the Avio.

Beachy. Move to Bournemouth we are having a good summer! The sea is warm as well.It is really about time you spoke to Martyn and upgraded.Did you read in the news this week that Bournemouth is the first city in the UK to become the fist to become a Fibrecity. This will provide ultra high speed communications via fibre optic cable at a speeds in excess of100mbps. I have just signed up. Installaion stars next month. I have not heard anything about The Rev Bob of late? Many regards. Derek.

John,
If the curser went sluggish first it could be a software problem. Have you tried disconnecting Avio from the power for a while? if that didn't fix the problem I would suggest a FULL install before you disturb the moths in your pocket. Just what you needed to hear when you have several ongoing projects? ;)

I'd say this might be one of those use it or lose it issues. . .

Martyn, Do you remember that you put a sled drive facility in my Avio? many years ago, just after the war I think it was, It was an old 40g hard drive that was causing the problem...What size hard drive can I change it for from you? and will it cost more than a Fiver?? :D Someone was asking after the Rev Bob? He spends these summer months in his counting house counting his Rubles!! He tells me his Golden wedding is coming up in December!! So his wife Pam can expect a McDonalds!! (Not a whole one to herself mind! Bob will have half...... Och aye the noo!!! :D

Hey there, Beachy.

You're showing a bit of confusion there - I don't count roubles - I count GROATS, which used to be the currency in Bonnie Scotland about five or six centuries ago. And Pam is demanding an entire Big Mac all to herself after 50 years with me - I suspect she's worked out I'm truly the last of the big spenders! But make sure you're there on December 13th with your trusty wind-up camcorder to record the celebrations for posterity!

To all others expressing concern about me, rumours of my demise are slightly exaggerated! Still alive - and aiming to be kicking near neighbours like Beachy!
:D ;)

40gb?..oh yes I vaguely remember those. 120gb shouldn't be a problem, you would need to check the RAM for anything bigger. Yours is probably 64, you would need 256..... but would cost more than your Avio is worth :o
I might even have the odd second hand 80gb. 8-)
