hd dowload bitrate - xf100 to s-2000 bogart 3.7

Buying an xf100. It has a max record of full hd at 50mb per sec.
Just want to make sure that i can download that or do i have to record at a lower rate
like 24mb per sec? Thanks!

Works fine for both the XF-100 and the XF-300 @50mbps. The limit is 60mbps downloads. Above broadcast standards.

Well, no matter what HD format you are trying to download, Bogart will transcode it into a perfectly edit-able i-frame only format with a data rate of approx. 50-60 MBit/second.
Depending on the export format, the output format of your finished project will have a lower data rate, of course.

This is what I have recommended to Jorg & the developers is the ability to not ony import but to EXPORT at 50-60 mbps. Also I would like to see 4:2:2 color space for additional broadcast requirements.....
