New Casablanca software: TwinX Vacation/HD

TwinX Vacation and TwinX Vacation HD is a fun new add-on product from the popular X-graphics series. TwinX Vacation and TwinX Vacation HD are more flexible in their application due to the ability of layer two of the included masks or graphics on a single video scene. Combined with the ability to position the objects anywhere on the screen, translucency and size parameters, the result is a huge number of combinations.

System requirements:
The new Twin-X Vacation and Twin-X Vacation HD require a at least Smart Edit 5 and also function fully on the new Bogart SE Operating System. This new product is included in the new Add On Software download link found on our website here

Twin X Vacation Notes & Info:
1. When using the Twin-X Vacation HD masks, be sure to check your name of the product under the "Products" button in the Image Pool. It may default the standard definition Twin X masks and you may need to switch it back to the HD masks (which are created with the higher resolution and the widescreen aspect ratio)

2. Twin X will lay the images down as layers sometimes called "pancake layers". Meaning, the Image #1 lays down first. Any image loaded into Image #2 will lay on top of Image #1.

3. You may notice that a few masks in this new program are similar to the alpha masks from the Split X program, but enable you to now use the layering function.

4. When sizing images, keep in mind not all images not set for 4:3 or 16:9. Sizing them larger could lower quality of the mask.

5. If you wish to use only one of the Image masks, then set the other mask to have its "Alpha" slider in the Image Pool to "0%. That will make that mask completely transparent. You could also use the Titler and use just one box with the appropriate mask too.

6. One mask, "Map 03" with Twin-X Vacation (not HD) may be seen as blank in the dual monitor mode. This is a known issue and has been reported to software development for adjustment.
