My dvd i created in my new s-3000 is way darker than the original clip in the scene bin. I have not added any special effects or image processing effects to any of the clips. I am also comparing the two sorces on the same TV. ANY THOUGHTS ???? Thanks in advance Mike Morlock

How did you play back the DVD? In what player? With the same monitor as with your S3000?

Check your original monitor setting. The monitor may be set wrong. Use a SPYDER.

I played back my dvd on the s-3000 using the same monitor that i used while editing it...seems like something in the dvd authoring process has changed the contrast to darker.

What does the DVD look like when you play it in other players/screen combinations around your house?

I am working with a Smart Edit machine. If Arabesk on Bogart is similar to Arabesk on Smart Edit, then you made a scene of your storyboard, (in Smart Edit I use the Image Processing Screen or the Transitions Screen to make a scene. There may be another way to make a scene in Bogart) perhaps clipboarded it to an empty project, and then authored and burned it. I would suggest repeating that process with your original storyboard, making sure no effects are added when you create the scene if you are using the Image Processing Screen.
