I am needing to back up the hard drive in my S6K, and wanted to know what outboard hard drives are giving the best service? Brand/model #'s? Thanks!

One member of the Cassie Tips List wrote that
I have had great performances from my Seagate and Western Digital "book sized" desktop external harddrives. These are the bigger ones that require their own separate "wall wart" low voltage power supply cords. I also have a small "passport" or "pocket sized" USB HDD as well, but I have limited it's use to being my camera's SD card file transfer, back-up library HDD only.

Hello,

I have six Western digital one T hard drives that I use with
Store-n-Share and also HD back up. They work well and
are all the "My Book" version.

Just try and make sure that 'they' don't have any PC type back-up software already on the drive.

This is often in a hidden partition that is very hard to delete and the Bogart system can try and run this software causing a lockup of the machine . . .
