Bogart 5.3 isn't letting me access Columbus 3. I get a black screen with an "x" in the middle every time I try to go to the program. Is this normal for 5.3 or is there something else I need to do to use the software? This is on an S2000.

Which version of Columbus v3 are you using ?
Did it 'work' before but has since stopped ?

version 3.1. I recently upgraded from Bogart 2.4c to 5.3. It worked fine in 2.4, but not now. My Big Maps seem to be okay, just not Columbus.

Just tried updating my 5.3 thinking the OS might have something to do with it. But it didn't solve the problem. Still getting the black screen with the "X" in the middle when I click on Columbus. Then a reboot. Any suggestions?

The Macro web site shows v3.1a - are you able to try that ?

You identified the problem, Michael. I updated my OS to 5.5 and then got a message that my Columbus 3 "was not fit for Bogart." Updated Columbus to v.1.3 and all is now well and working.

Meant v1.3 not 3.1
It's 'nice' that none compatible software now appears at the top of the Install Product list with an * next to it - very useful when people use old Software CD's
