Split X image for Arabesk menu has wrong colors

Hello,
I'm trying to use a Split X image, one of the reel to reel film images as a background for a DVD menu in Arabesk. I'm also colorizing the image using 3 colors for the setting in the colorize menu. I'm using black yellow and blue. I've done this before with nice results. But this time my colorization only effects the film strip part and the rest of the background is bright red. I thought maybe the red was coming from the little box where you can choose a color and it changes the background to one color. Changed it from red to black but this just made the whole background black. I've tried choosing a different splitX image with the same result. In fact, the preview screen for my colorization of the split X image not only has the wrong colors that I have chosen, it is no where close to what the preview screen gives me as far as shading, depth of the color etc. As a last resort I deleted and re installed Arabesk. I went in and imported a film to be created and went to the edit menu screen. And my split X image with the bright red background was back. I expected to see the generic CASABLANCA DVD on a gray screen like when I do a full re install of the OS but no, my little ghost in the machine was back. I'm going to try and delete Split X and reinstall it as I just thought of that while typing. I'll post the results. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
