Man do I need help My Twixtor Slow-motion effect is malfunctioning... Every time I try to use it shuts down the machine (S2K). It has been working fine but now I am in the middle of editing my movie "Chain Of Events" and every time I try to use it it shuts down my machine. I get the same old pop up afterwards that says "The program has not been quit properly Please use the off button on the front of the machine to avoid problems" I did copy the whole project to another Project number but that did not work so I put the scene I needed to the clipboard and transferred it to another project number and wallah Twixtor Slow Motion worked but it still does not work in my exsisting project on any scenes. Does anyone know how to fix this I am pulling out what little hair I have left.

Can you Twixtor the needed scene in another project, make a scene of it and then clipboard it to the malfunctioning project?

Mark - I will bet that you are running an earlier version of Twixtor and the project (where Twixtor) use shuts down your system is a project that is set to Progressive (in the Project Settings Menu). If this is the case your best option is to upgrade to the current/later version of Twixtor, which is Version 1.1

The other temporary solution would be to enter Project Settings Menu, switch project to Interlace ON (Progressive Off) just for the completion of your Twixtor effect rendering, then switch back to Interlace OFF, Progressive ON (yes, the system will 'bark' at you and warn you not to do so, but it will work).

You the MAN !!! Thank you so much; You were RIGHT I had changed to progressive on instead of interlaced on by mistake so I changed it back and YEAH it works and now I am back to work.
I was ready to put this machine in the shop and spend a bunch of money and lose a lot of precious time but you saved me from all that by taking the time to share your knowledge.
