Character Generator

Can any one tell me how to purge my archives in the character generator? I have so many I don't use and it takes it so long to load on this one hard drive. Thanks!

Try doing a search (upper right corner) using the term delete pages in titler
Take a look at the reply by Volker.

What are you trying to get rid of? Font types or archived titles?

Archived titles. I have so many that its slow to come up!

No easy way. Archived titles have to be removed one at a time.
In the "edit" window, select the (T) "title button", click on the "Enter/edit text" button, select the "Archives" button, select the "delete
screen button", choose the "Title name" to be deleted, click "OK", go back to the "click on Archives and repeat.
If you have power key, once "archives" is visible, you can select "alt/r," - hit "delete" key on "
keyboard" choose title name, then "OK" and repeat until all archived titles not needed are gone.
