hard drive failure

Hi in need of some help my external hard drive has failed thus i have lost some vital footage I have sent it to a data recovery company they have recovered data but cant read it can anyone help me out or is all lost ??

Last resort: stick the HDD in your refrigerator..get it real cold....attach quickly then..boot-up. This is not a joke. Try it.

This is an external USB Store 'n' Share drive that appears to have lost one of its sectors. The drive (sort of) works and new partitions added but access to existing projects has gone !
It's currently at a DATA recovery facility but what Francis is really after is that if anything can be recovered can it be put back into Bogart or on a S 'n' S partition.
Any help gratefully received as this data contains some footage that is not stored anywhere else.

It would be great if you could contact MacroMotion (the company that bought MacroSystem) in Germany and get the information you need from them. Perhaps you could reach out to Jorg Sprave to see if he can intercede in your behalf. Or maybe Gary McNally, the new owner of MacroSystem in the US.
