SE 8 AUDIO OUTPUT VOLUME TIP

SE 8 has the ability to adjust the audio output volume to the RCA AUDIO outputs. The menu to adjust the audio level for MONITORING is buried in the SYSTEM SETTING.
However, if the volume control is set to a high level, distortion can occur no matter how your monitor, audio system is adjusted. This gives a false audio output as distortion. This over-modulation has nothing to do with the FINAL output in the AUDIO MIX window or FINISH window but can cause the editor to adjust the audio wrongly after listening to the audio track.
.SOLUTION: In SE 8 go to your SYSTEM SETTINGS>ADDITIONAL SETTINGS>VOLUME
.If your VOLUME is at a high level, lower the volume while increasing the volume higher on your monitor, headphone or audio amp. to a medium undistorted point.
.Your audio should now be set to the proper volume for editing and listeneing purposes.
Hope this helps.
I am going to assume the BOGART SE 2.0 will have the same setting.
