Bogart S2000

Thanks to all for your helpful recommendations and comments.

Last evening I plugged the Bogart into my TV set and lo and behold there was a response. So I installed the operating system and most of the software. It turned out that the original hard drive had indeed failed. Now, with the new Seagate 1TB hard drive it says I have 69 hours of video recording time!

Right now I am operating using the AV input of my Samsung TV. It has been years since I set up the Bogart to operate on HDMI. Can anyone give me a quick synopsis of how to change from the AV input to the HDMI setting?

Many thanks and best wishes,
Sid

Hi sid1931,

you may change the desired output.
When MacroSystem is shown (Not Macro( )System)
Connect your S2000 via HDMI-cable to HDMI monitor
Press the right button of the trackball for 3 seconds
If no response press the left button to continue the monitor selection
Continue pressing left button for output change
The left button changes outputs DVI/VGA--> DVI/HDMI--> HDMI

Good success ;)

Many thanks for the valuable input! I just couldn't remember how I brought in the HDMI mode a few years ago and couldn't find the instructions in my notes.

Regardless, I was able to make the switch last evening and I am now editing in HDMI!

Again, thanks,
Sid
