My trackball is getting jumpy and sticky.What can I clean it with or is it history?

Pull the Red Ball out. You will see contacts. Open. Bottle of isopropyl ....stick a Q tip into the bottle..and v,ean the internal connectors within the cavity. Now, clean the ball itself with the same solution.
