I have a HD video 1080, looks fine on my 38" TV. The client has a 50" and says the DVD looks blurry. What are the settings to burn a DVD to the best quality, other than BlueRay? What should the system settings be to get best quality in and out? DVD type 1 or type 2?

If you want to burn HD video onto a DVD then you have to set the target format (authoring mode) to Blu Ray (HD). The way you have it set now it looks like you are down converting your HD material to SD and then burning a DVD of it. I'm pretty sure if you are able to make a high def recording onto a DVD your client will have to use a Blu Ray player to view it. DVD players are not fast enough to play HD material, and you will only be able to fit about 20 minutes of HD material on a DVD unless you are using Render Booster.

If your intention is to make an SD DVD then set the data rate to high or max and your rendering to intensive. (Max may still be too high for some DVD players) The type 1 and type 2 option only refers to the DIsk transfer program which is for backing up footage and transferring it to another machine. Type 1 is for back ups made for Casablancas and type 2 is for PCs, if you were wanting to transfer a high quality back up to your PC. I think it makes .avi files.
