I use the Sony NX30U and both my machines can import the files. It could be several different things preventing your machine from recognizing the files. Project settings for example, do they match with your footage you are trying to import? Can you transfer 1 file to a USB stick on it's own and try that way? Have you tried importing in Media manager? Do you have your camera set to record/read from the SD card or the internal memory and where are those files stored? What else have you tried?

thanks for your reply.. Yes Project setting do match and even if they did not I believe it would still import. I have other consumer Sony cameras and reads the cards fine.. I did try copying to a USB drive and had the same issues.. Files import fine into my PC.

Well just brainstorming here. Try a different USB port on the S6000? Take card out of camera and put it into one of the consumer Sonys and import that way? Is your footage at 60i/p? Maybe your OS can't import that high of a frame rate. Try shooting at a lower quality setting and then try to import. Does your camera have one of those USB wires that is stored in the cameras hand grip? If that's what you're using try using the external USB port on the camera instead. And yes you're right on the project settings thing. That's all I can think of. Please post if you find a solution.

The file name (not the picture) actually pops up but can not read it.. I found a reset button on my camera, I will try to reset all the setting.. bought it used so maybe some weird settings..

What cards are you using ?

We (still) don't use SD XC cards, as opposed to SDHC and I've not had any success with the Sony SxS-1 cards although the normal SxS are fine.

You can re-format the SDXC cards (Windows/Bogart doesn't like FAT32 over 32Gb) and therefore use some 64Gb ones etc but I've not had any experience on the even larger 128Gb ones . . . presume it's the same process :?:

I have used 64 GB cards in the past with no issues. I also used SDXC cards once in my sony but it didn't end well. The cards only worked initially but after that all video files were corrupt and then unreadable on a PC or the Karat. None of this would explain why the files on your system aren't being recognized by the S6000. If your PC can read them and you can transfer one video file to a USB stick and it still can't be read by your S6000 then something else is going on. Could you convert the file to something else of equal quality and try importing that way using third party software? It sounds like there is something wrong/different with the format of your video files that is preventing your S6000 from recognizing them.
