Disaster?

S4000 running perfectly since Christmas when I had a new battery. I leave it on now to avoid battery problem. Attempted to edit on Thursday and couldn't see the opening screen so switched off using the 2 buttons - power and OK.
Ominous clicking sound which went on for some time - I left it doing that.
Just been back to it, Saturday morning and can't get it to power up. Unplugged the power from S4000 and the wall. Left it for 10 mins. Same result. No power.
Guess I am in trouble.....? I have HD Sentry. Will that have reserved my projects?

TIA

Bad power supply...the fading voltage caused the clicking of your HDD.

If you are using Sentry...you should be able to have saved your projects albeit only in Linux.

Also. Store in Share is another way to archive your projectss

HD Sentry is awesome but it does NOT automatically save, you needed to activate it to save as you went along. First thing I would do IF you get it started is HD Backup Sentry to an external HDD. Hope you still have the original footage.

Please use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for online translating this: Normally, that should fix it. Image
