I have an 040 & a 060 Classic but would like to be able to use the Mini-dv in/out socket, unfortunatly I cannot find a DV-800 anywhere.As these machines all look the same and all got the DV socket fitted (but not the board) is there any way that you can tell if a Classic is an 800 model without testing it, by serial number or series for instant? I also use a Prestige that I think is brilliant.

The only (easy) way I can think of is to power it up and see 'if' you can select DV in Video Settings.

If you can it is and if you can't it ain't a DV one.
