S4000Pro cursor disappears

Post by GaryP »

Sometimes when in story board or scene bin and playing a scene, the cursor disappears and the machine locks up so I have to reset or reboot. I am using Bogart SE V1.3C/2.0. Sometimes the sound doesn't play and the next time it works fine. Any ideas?

Sounds like something you should talk to Boulder about. I know it's a REAL pain but did you try a complete re-install.

I did another update, since I have only been transfering video from the old Avio and getting ready to work on the S4KPro. Guess what! At this point everything is working, for how long I don't know.

Sometimes my cursor also disappears when playing storyboard or scene bin.
I have reported this to MS. Seems like a very rare issue , couldn't be confirmed by MS.

The issue is in the release notes so I assume it is being addressed.

I highly recommend that a full install always be done instead of an update in BOGART SE. This eliminates the little GREMLINS that decide to stick around from the previous OS or prior problem.

I never had much faith in the uprgrade path, but with the S4P it has been positively worthless for me as I lose a bunch of software functionality (primarily in patterns) virtually every time I have tried the upgrade path.

It makes the fact that the full destructive install path is so tedious with having to input all activation codes each time even that more odorous. :x

At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.
