Kron dead in the water Help!

My backup unit, a Kron that I use for film to video transfers, is suddenly dead!
Nothing strange has happened that I am aware of. My Renommee, sitting right next to the Kron, is fine.
I tried unplugging power for 5+ minutes but the unit will just not turn on.
The red light is burning on the front of the unit but when I push the "on" button, nothing happens; no fan
noise, no picture on the monitor...nothing.
My studio is not unduly cold. I keep it at about 65-67 degrees.
I'm hoping to avoid sending it in to the Cassie doctor but I may have to anyway.
Anybody know anything to try?
Thanks
Alan
