Blu Ray not playing on pc, made in Arabesk 5

Arabesk 5. HD project. Have RenderBooster. Using BD-R or BD+R (same result) disc, 25GB.
Have Arabesk settings set to Media Used BD 25GB and Authoring Mode Blu-ray.

I can play the disc in my playstation 3 just fine. I have tried to play in on two pc's that have blu-ray players. Both say there is nothing on the disc.
Also, a customer said that the blu-ray disc will only show a directory listing of the video files and not the menu screen. They can play it but this is not professional...

Any suggestions. Thanks!

Tell us what DVD Blu-ray compatable Software Player you have installed on your computer in tandem with the Blu-ray burner/player? I use POWER DVX.

I saw this on Dalco.UK site.

SearchThe situation with BluRay player compatibility is at last improving. Most of the early BluRay players will play only commercially made BR disks and not “burned” (AVCHD) disks as produced by pc’s and Casablanca. Most manufacturers will provide software upgrades either online or on a CD to add AVCHD reading capability. Most new players should include AVCHD disk compatibility. NB some models list AVCHD for SD cards, check that AVCHD disks will play.

We recommend if possible taking a “burned” disk into the store to test players before purchase. We have tested and know that the following models are compatible;

Logik DV-BD1000

Logik LBD-2000

LG BD 370

Sony Playstation 3

Panasonic DMR-BS850

Sony BDV 360IS

LG BD 350

LG 2.1 BD Home Cinema

Pioneer BPP LX70

Samsung HT Z320R

Toshiba BDX 2000

Panasonic DMR BS750

I think the original poster is having difficulty reading the disc on his PC. If so, actual Blu-ray compatable software is needed to actually display a Blu-ray Disc on a PC. The Blu-ray burner/player needs to communicate with software.

Your right Lou. I was having problems with Blu-ray playing on PC. I bought an external Panasonic burner for my S-2000 that has been compatible and working for months. I finally decided to load the same drive on my Win 7 laptop. Used the software disc that came with the drive. Everything loaded fine but the drive can't read a disc burned using Arabesk. Is Arabesk to blame, the players or computer drives, or am I using cheap discs? I don't have a clue. Everything works when I play it on my PS3 box.

PS - Looking for blank Blu-Ray disc recommendations. What format is the most compatible? BD+R, BD-R, 25GB or dual layer 50GB?

Nothing would play on my PC either until I got Arabesk 5.6. Windows itself still would not read it but Corel Win DVD did read it after some effort. This is a program from Toshiba that came with my Toshiba laptop. It played perfectly.
