Hello! I recently took an HD project with chapter menu etc. and made 9 copies on Blu Ray for some clients. (this is Arabesk 6) I also needed 2 SD DVDs so after I made the Blu Rays I changed all my settings to making an SD DVD. Made sure the menus looked ok, (they did not, a few minor adjustments were needed) and then put in a DVD and clicked burn. After a minute or so I got a message "Hint, there was an error burning to the disc" or something to that effect. I tried a different disc (DVD+R) same message. SO then I tried converting the storyboard to SD by importing it into a different SD project using the clipboard. After that finished I tried to make a DVD in Arabesk (same disc project) using saved templetes from the HD burn. Same message. I tried a DVD-R, same message. Gave up went to bed. Next morning decided to try a disc from a different spindle or cake box(DVD+R). Worked fine. Had to render of course but previously I couldn't even get it to render. I then tried a disc from the first spindle, the same disc that wouldn't work yesterday and it worked fine. Why does this happen? Seems like more often than not, whenever I try to make an SD DVD from an HD storyboard, I have problems. And not always the same problem. Has Arabesk 7 fixed these issues?

Don't know if this helps but when you went to bed I assume you shut down the editor, therefore when you started the editor the next morning it was a reboot. I had a similar problem, so thought, just reboot and see what happens. Sure enough it worked.
