Can an Avio be converted into a windows unit to run the new software?

The Avio started being sold in 2000 and ran on an Intel Pentium MMX processor that was introduced in 1997 or 1998. It had a proprietary motherboard and could fit up to 256 megabytes of RAM. The hard drives could go up to about 300 Gigs if I remember correctly. It just doesn't have the muscle compared to today's Windows computers.

The Avio is still good for editing standard def video so if you do any film or tape to DVD transfer work it would be useful - your main editor would be free for more demanding jobs. You would be able to do two jobs at the same time. ;)

It also ran on VxWorks and not a Linux or Windows based system - either way it's still no.
