Original sound going out of sink longer than 30 minutes

I’m running Bogart 10.3 Pro A and I film performing Art show they run about 35 to 40 minutes each perform the audio seems to go out of sync almost all the time past 15 minutes I’m not sure if this is a Bogard issue with 10 I was told that Bogart 11 was more stable and probably would not be doing that. I would like to know if anybody is having the same issues and if macro system is aware of this issue with the software. I have to always check to see if I have to moved audio forward take a long time to do this.

Michel you are very knowledgeable about Casablanca software is this something that’s been corrected on Bogart 11 or is this something that still there working on.

I have the same problem with the windows versions. I got the studio pro 3 years ago and have not been able to use it. I have upgraded to the latest software and I still have the problem. It may work fine for short 1 or 2 min clips but anything long it looses sync. I called my rep and he said just make a audio copy and put it on another track and move it around till it syncs up. I have use Casablanca products for 20 years starting with an Avio to the Avio dv to the 4000 and 6000 and now the studio pro. When they started selling units they touted that the units were simple to use and they were. They have become so complex now that we may as well go to Apple. I still have my 6000 and all seems good with it. It is simple to use and does the job without all the fancy bells and whisles.

I also have been with them for at least 20 years I also bought Avio , prestige, renomme plus and now Studio pro,but I just can’t beleave that we can’t load more than 10 to 15 minutes with out going out of sink I thought that spending over 4000.00 dollars we would not have this problems.

I'm just curious, what are you guys shooting on? Cards or Tape? This was a big problem with tape, but very RARE with cards.

I’m shooting with sd card Sandisk extreme Pro 95 mg 64 go on Sony CX900 shooting 1080P 60 FPS but again my performance run each section 45 to 50 minutes I’m being told which I’m not sure that Bogart 11 should be more stable and it should fix this issue but not many people on the forum are confirming this I have spend over 5000.00 in this units with all the extra software believing in it.

Are you importing directly into Bogart? The only other time I've heard about someone having a problem is when they did this. The best way is to import (from the card) to a working folder (with your project name on it) to your hard drive, then take it into Bogart. With a computer based system it's always better to import the file FROM the HDD. The Studio 4 Pro is a great system. The only other suggestion I can offer is try a different card, maybe the 32 gb.

Maybe that could be a resolution I do go from smart card into Bogart. Thank you now since you are helping me so much do you find that Bogart 11 is more stable, I’m sorry but I keep asking because the more input we get from people that use it like I do could advise me.

Always happy to help. Personally, I had no problems with Bog Win 10 at all, but Bog 11 is also very stable. It's ALWAYS a good idea to be sure you're running the latest version, you can easily search for updates in the "settings" window now to be sure your version is fully updated. This happened to me in versions prior to Bogart 11, specifically videos recorded in 6OP HD, but after moving to Bogart 11 all my audios were synchronized, now I shoot in 4k 30p and use the audios of my tascam and place them down scenes of up to 30 minutes and the audio never goes out of sync ever ..
