WATERMARKING AND PROTECTING YOUR PRODUCTIONS

Don't have other people steal your video productions. With the soon to be released BOGART SE we will have the capability of compressing our video work for the web. This will make it vulnerable for piracy.
WATERMARKING can be done very easy. Your logo or name can be placed over the entire video or in a corner. This will prevent copyright infringements.

.Pick a scene and enter it into CB PAINT as LAYER#1

.TOOLS (left side) pick the TEXT box and type your name or any word for this excercise. Make sure WORD is highlighted

.Press the letter "J" on your keyboard

.Your NAME should be attached to the cursor.

.SIMPLY STAMP the word in the lower left hand corner of your scene.

.Press "J" again.....the word disappeared but it is really under the layer...invisible

.UPPER TOOL BAR

.EFFECTS>DISTORTION>BUMP

.PROMPT BOX will open and assign SOURCE>SPARE

.ADJUST THE DEPTH to 1278

.You will now see your name appearing into the scene as if pushing UP through the scene.

.In the PROMPT box, simply change CENTER to DIRECTION and play with the spinning wheel to adjust your watermark.

.SELECT ALL and RENDER within your prompt box

.Upper tool bin ( you may choose to save your logo/name)

NOW..................

.FILE >RENDER SEQUENCE


ADVANCED USERES: You can get real fancy by using many of the custom brushes located in the custom bin such as the spinning Earth etc. Simply place your icon in the lower right. You can even add text surrounding your icon via the splines. Again this is for the more advance CB Painter.
