(AP NEWSWIRE) Astronomers have identified an asteroid very close to the planet Earth. The name of the asteroid is CBP-2 and is on a collision course with the planet Earth. A catastrophic result can not be avoided. It is the end of mankind and all living creatures on our planet.
We are doomed!!!!
Watch as the asteroid picks up speed and slowly sinks into the Earth's surface and causes the atmosphere to completely burn-up and cause the demise of civilization.

Actually and luckily, CB PAINT 2 was used to demonstrate what could happen.
The PARTICLE GENERATOR was used for the starfield and explosion.
The PATH RECORDER was used to attach the fireball to the asteroid CBP-2.
The asteroid is located in the CB PAINT custom brush bin as is the planet Earth.
The asteroid was edited via the custom brush menu and was flattened from a round object. I used the keyframer to decrease size as it entered the atmosphere.
Three layers were used as was the LOOP feature for custom brushes.
The Moon is actually a real video capture and "shrunk-down" in proportion to the rest of the scene.
Nothing was pre-made. Everything was made in CB PAINT 2.
Enjoy!!
