I want my AUDIO !!!

Currently we can not hear or even see if we have Audio when importing video from our HD Camera via fire wire to the S2000.

I find this very disturbing sometimes after importing an hour of video to the S2000 only to find out I have no audio.

It would really be nice if this bug or critter could be fixed.

I really hope Macro System is considering fixing this problem soon.

Don't get me wrong I love my S2000 but I would be a lot happier if it was totally functional.

Does anyone know if there is a fix in the works ???

Marcus, I understand your frustration. Please post when this issue is resolved. Also, are you getting any "hiccups" (dropped frames, pixilization, etc.) when downloading or processing SD or HD video?

Actually no for me that seems to be working well although playback in the editing mode can be a little shaky but the final cuts look good. I am still having some issues with downcoverting HD to SD.
The finished SD tends to strob a bit with my slow motion.
And I have not had a chance to see if my burned HD bluray's I have made will play on another bluray player but they look great on the S2K.
I guess I will have to buy a bluray player and see.

I am using 2.3e also but I can not hear any audio while downloading video via firewire.
So I have to watch an hour of video in silence while hoping there is audio when it's done
