Hard drive camcorder to firewire Claro

I have a Claro for my high school class to use for editing video. My current Panasonic camcorder does well with downloading the footage into the Claro via the firewire. I am interested in updating my camcorder to a hard disk drive. I have not found a camcorder (under $750) with a firewire connection. Any help?

Hello,

I did some searching for a customer recently and my online searches and conversations with AV resellers yielded the fact that apparently the HD camcorders export video either via USB or have composite out (some also have HDMI out - -but that would not help you with a Casablanca II, or even a Bogart OS Casablanca at this time).
