Then you probably have Smart Edit 7.

Chet Davis is presenting a free webinar tomorrow on the new features of Smart Edit 9 and Bogart 3 on his website. You can register here http://www.casablancaexpert.com/events/20100106 I believe the 8:00AM start time is Pacific Standard so it would be 11:00AM on the East coast.

I have to take my wife to Orlando for a Ceremic show tomorrow. She needs slip bad. Thats the stuff you pour to make ceremic stuff. Thats the extent of my knowlege on the subject. Is Operating system 8 a free update? I may have 8 in the other HD. I can't look now I am dumping a show in the Rennie now. I was complaining about the quality but I got my 2009 hi-lite done at 2 this morning and it looks pretty good. I have all my copys done and I am printing the labels now. Maybe my quality problems started last week when I went to a buddys studio and he shoots in HD. Man what a difference. I got back to my studio and mine looked terrible.LOL! How long does it take for the webinar to get to the archives? I would be interested in watching that. Thanks Bob..

Hello Bob;
the only thing I can remember about why you might have chosen Y/C instead of FireWire, is that when you use FireWire you can't increase the exposure of your footage as you are delivering it to your Cassie. when you're using Y/C you were able to increase or decrease your exposure level as you imported or downloaded it into your.. Unit. That might have been Why you chose Y/C. Overall though, I believe you would be much happier with using FireWire And gaining the capability of the auto split function. It saves a ton of time, and the quality is much improved.

I am convinced! I am going to begin using firewire. I have today finished with my big push to complete my end of the year stuff. I have it all done and packed for our banquet Saturday. Thats probably my largest single payday all year. I got 2 more orders today so next week is busy. I have started to plan for 2010 and as I think of it its going to be a snap this time next year.
I need a resource to teach me how to record edited footage on DV tape. My decision to archive my crashes will improve the time to build my weekly u-tube spots and the time I save with auto split, well i may just take up a hobby! Any suggestions? Bob..
