Titles range cut in half

I operate a Prestige SE 8.1

When inserting a title into a scene it displays for only half the specfied range.
i.e. In a (Example) 20 sec. scene a title is added to run the entire scene lengh - only 10 seconds will display. If 6 seconds are specified - only 3 will show.
No matter if I check 'Entire Scene' or select a range no matter what I do - only 50% of the title's desired range is added to the scene.
Tried everything and ran out of ideas - can anyone help?

I bet you have an "empty" page in your titler that will be displayed after the actual title.
Just delete this empty page in your titling engine and there you go.
