Quiz
I made this DVD menu and wasn't happy with it not having any animation. I was messing around with the effects and I love what I came up with. See if you can figure out what effect I used to put the movement in the purple circles on the ends and the electricity in the pipes.http://iplayerhd.com/player/menu1.aspx
Hint: I do not have CB Paint.

Re: Quiz
Hi Jeff,
very good done, interesting idea!
Please give us some hints.
Where did you get those "blue light barrels" from?
And how was your performance to animate?
Maybe using the PIP program?
Please solve the riddle...

Re: Quiz
Sorry, you will not be able view it on your iphone as I encoded it at very high quality.
More hints: It is the same effect used for both the electricity and the purple circles.
The barrels were made with Akaba, but I can not take the credit for making them.

Re: Quiz
Hmmmm....This could be the pilot for CSI: Casablanca!
Magic Lights? Color Cycling? There are some transitions that might create that effect but I'll have to take a look later to see which ones.

Re: Quiz
In the Background we see a Magic Light Animation. That was easy. But...
Did you use Motion Perfect for "warping" between two single frames?
Or Elastic Dreams?

Re: Quiz
magic light , yes. But did not use anything fancy like you mentioned.
Hint 3: It is so simple. Looks more impressive then it took to make it.
Ck Newman was on the right path

Re: Quiz
I'd have to guess that you used ZI Ripple in either the transitions or IP effects menu to get the movement in the green tubes and the purple circles.

Re: Quiz
That is a good guess, but I think the ripple effect, doesn't allow you resize the ripple.
That previous statement is a big clue! You are getting warmer!
