Your ADVISE!

To all those that gave me advise a couple months ago when i thought my Quality had took a fall. I have since been using firewire and am greatly pleased with the result. It took a little getting use to but I have cut my editing each program drasticly. The auto split saves a bundle of time. The quality of the video seems to have improved a little too. I have taken Jeanton's advise and started compiling the edited footage of each class on DV tape. That seems to be working very good. Its a little time consuming but will be a blessing at the end of the year. While I was whining about the Quality, I had the best year end I have had in the 27 years I have been in this business. Thanks Guys I really do appreciate this board and being able to get help when I need it. Bob...

Hello Bob,

I would like to invite you to set aside the week of March 7th next year ( 2011 ) to attend the 7th Annual March Get Together. It is the place to be for any Casablanca user. You will learn so much it's staggering to think about.

You'll be in the company of other Cassie Users who speak the same language as you and you'll find it stimulating and eye-opening to be in an intense learning environment for 4 days with Cassie folks. Even better, Chet Davis the Casablanca Expert puts on two days of intense workshop training before the MGT and two more days of intensive "Advanced" learning after the MGT.

What a combination....learning for each other and then also having Chet there with his expertize. It's so much better to find all of this in one place and at one time so you don't have to make several trips around the country and break up your schedule at several different times through the year. It's all in one place and at one time. How much better could it be?

The fact that a great dealer and vendor will be there with all the goodies in one place and that there are prizes given away. This year there were 13 drawings and over $4,600 in prizes were drawn for. Guess what....they were all won by members of our Casablanca Family of Friends.

In addition to all the learning that goes on at the MGT, we have a lot of fun with the Cassie Family or Friends. Yes..... We are a Family and we want you to be a part of it as well.

I would love to Jim. If I can afford to fly out or better yet I'd like to make a working vacation out of it. This year I just had so much work to do and the funds were slow. I thank you for the invite though and I will try to make it. There is so much this machine will do that I have never touched it is amazing. I do what I have to do to make a living and don't have time for the real creativity. I have edited with other machines and used the fancy effects and what I call glitter and my customers don't like it. They want to see their racing with out fanfare. Go figure. LOL! I wish I had found this board years ago. When I ran into problems before I had to call my distributer and pick his brain. Its so much easier to get on line and tell your woo's and I'd suppose my distributer is happy about it too. Thanks Bob...
