YEP. I also THINK the new JVC HD being introduced will work. The 7D and the T1 are at 44 Mps.

BTW: I answered your post at DVINFO.net about NXCAM.

Wedding HD pack. All done in BOGART. Photo Transfer of HDV footage after making a STILL. FRAME setting and the higher setting. Great for making Thank You Cards, 8 X 10 pictures for frames, after market montages etc.. Just great after market potential. When CALADAN is released for BOGART-great DVD jackets etc. Notice the fine DOF of the foreground and background. That's tough to do using a video camera. However, using a video camera, the camera person would have to increase shutter speed to open up the iris plus add extra background light OR change the focal length of the "zoom" on the lens for a shallow DOF.

Hey Bruno thanks for your coments at DVinfo forum.

I think I'll stay with the Z5 a few months more until I see What WILL happen in this crazy world of video cameras.
Today you shop a new camera and another arrives next week :evil:

Nicely done Lou

My questions are;

Can you plug in additional mics and how good is the internal mic - does it have a headphone jack?
I never use my internal mic on the Z1. Do you have control over the audio levels?
Audio is the huge difference in wedding photography and videography - photographers don't have to think about audio.
I am constantly checking and changing the audio levels during ceremony and reception.
Also, the low light conditions at a reception venue, for photo's you use a flash but what do you do
when they turn all the lights off during a bridal waltz - you can't use a flash with video.
How easy are they to hold steady as we all know we have to hold the camera still for at least 5 sec in
video and can you do that all day with a Digital SLR because they are kinda heavy and made to take photo's.

These are some questions that you have to ask yourself if you want to use this camera during event videography.
If you can I would ask a trial run for an hour or so in the park and see how it goes. :D
