arabesk not writing to dvd

Just got the s4100 with Bogart 2.4c and Arabesk 4.6. When I go to write to dvd, it wants to re render the video but never writes to disk. It is rendered because the create box is dimmed. I have seen the film in its rendering process. Don't understand why it forces a rendering again and never writes to disk. Never saw this happen in my Prestige. Also in film info menu i cannot play the video. A screen comes up with invalid path.

Check your SETTINGS in ARABESK. Sounds like you may have them set to AVCHD/BLU-RAY/DATA or some other combo rather than DVD.

.To OBSERVE the PLAY button...you MUST be in SINGLE monitor mode. otherwise, no PLAY icon is visible.

thanks, bruno, but i triple checked the settings. also, single monitor. this morning i went back to it and it was doing the same thing, so i reinstalled arabesk and as of this minute it is working and i was able to write to the dvd. go figure...
what is making me feel uneasy though, when i first start working with the unit, the screen flickers off and on for a couple of minutes before stabilizing so that i can continue to work...
