I'm having trouble booting up my s-4000 pro.
I get a message that says: "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" I cannot open the disc drive to isert boot software. I've tried selecting both f11 and f12 during the startup menu. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks.

That would indicate that the hard drive has come disconnected or gone bad. Please contact our support dept.

To open the burner drawer you hold the Esc key on the physical keyboard down throughout power up.
The message you are getting is not the normal bug of having a disk in the drawer though.
Sounds more like what Dennis suggested or you have screwed up the bios boot order somehow.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
