Just curious what folks typically use for burning DVDs. Do simple solutions like regular DVD-R work OK? Or is the extra cost for gold plated DVDs worth it? Also, what settings do folks typically burn to? I typically use Intensive rendering & High Image quality w/ compressed audio. Others?
I have had some issues with glicthes on recently burned DVDs that have not seen any play time at all. Just concerned it may be related to the burn and not the player... anyway, just curious what kind of experiences others have had...

Re: Types of Blank DVDs Used?
I use Intensive, High, Uncompressed (when it will fit).
I will back down from Uncompressed to Compressed before I will back down from High to Normal.
I believe Compressed causes more potential customer playback issues of no audio, but as I primarily shoot low volume wedding videography this does not bother me as the audio issue is strictly a menu setting issue on the playback device.
I use Taiyo Yuden exclusively for my main grades.
Premium White Inkjet Hub printable, Silver Thermal and Watershields.
I offer a Mitsui Mama-A 24 karat Gold Archival Inkjet printable as an upgrade add on.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.
