Is Real Time Audio the same as Unrendered audio, meaning if you don't have to render the audio at all then a new procedure/routine for handling audio must have been coded. I use Soundtrack Pro, and the audio does not have to be rendered unless you are exporting it. If you mix and edit and make changes, it does not have to be rendered. I have never cared for the rendered audio in Smart Edit or Bogart, especially with piano music. As soon as you render the audio, it crackles galore.
Maybe REALTIME audio will solve this problem.

Re: Real Time Audio
Hi
Real time audio editing is the same as your PC program. Every change you make will be instant for viewing back but when you want to export it to DVD or Tape it still has to be rendered. Don't know how to fix the crackling but have you over modulated the audio I don't hear bad sound when I render my audio.
Hope this answers your question.
