Hello friends! and I have a year with BOGART from 1 to 2.4, I want to buy an HD for BACKUP before my S-PRO do a BIG CRASH.
I have 12 wedding inside and I'm very nervous to a fatal CRASH..
What would be the brand to buy a good (1terrabite),HD?
Store 'n' Share would be better as software that BACKUP HD software?
It is possible to make a BACKUP of Bogart 2.4 and then install the 3?
Store N Share allows you to input and edit on an external drive and is not really a back up process.
Store N Share has one really cool extra ability in that it will allow you to actually instantly go in and edit in a backup project, but you need HD Backup to actually back up the internal drive to an external drive in the first place.
I recommend both software.
Yes, you can use HD Backup to backup your internal drive, then do a full, destructive install of another OS version (aka: 2.4 to 3) and then Restore your work to that new OS because HD Backup archives ALL of your Projects, but not the actual OS.
Lastly, as to what drive, I have successfully used WD, Seagate and Hitachi/IBM terrabyte drives in conjunction with an external USB hard drive dock.
