I am using a high resolution monitor with a Solitaire. I would like to know should I get a computer monitor? Is there any advantage or disadvantage in using a computer monitor in my setup? I would like to hear what others has to say.
I would like to know which and where to buy a computer monitor?
Note: I am a rookie learning on the Solitaire.
Thanks
Charles

Re: Using a Monitor with the Solitaire??
Charles,
In my opinion, the only reason to use a computer monitor would be to use the two monitor mode.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Theoretically a TV monitor produces better video playback because the lines which make up the picture are interlaced therby giving a smoother rendition of moving images. However, computer monitors (VGA) are non-interlaced and reproduce graphics (ie menus) more clearly. Ideally, as Tim says, using one of each gives the best results.
