Help Store and S'

Today I try to install a new HD to store and S ', but will not let me name the new HD and IS not working.
I formative in fact 32 on my IMAC before connecting to the s-pro.

I follow the instructions but once I give the initialize option, this tells me that HD is in use, to initialize it swith to the internal hard-drive first, and will not let me enter any of the other options as :

Create new project environment
delete project environmemt
Edit desccription

My HD is a SEAGATE 1TB

Hello Chet !! THANKS FOR YOUR TIME !!

Ok I did a test whit the HD,trying to use it as a backup HD and this is what the s-pro advice

The current mediumship (desktop seagate) (1) contains multiple areas

It Seems the currently selected area has no compatible format.

Do you whish to format the medium ?

Ok Another observation, selection of HD appear to me

INTERNAL HD
SEAGATE DESKTOP
SEAGATE DESKTOP

So the new seagate appears two times.

I will reformat again to see what happens
