I just re-discovered (by accident) this old tip from the Smart Edit machines that works on the Bogart ones too.
It's probably old news to some but if you aren't aware of it then it's useful.
When rendering, transitions, HD footage or DVD's (HD or otherwise) you can just push the off button and when its finished the machine turns itself off.
Great for those long renders you set off for an overnight run - meaning your machine isn't on for any unnecessary hours or until you decide to wake up
Yes, for this shut off trick to work, (which has been in all Cassie machines since the AVIO,) you MUST be in the finish screen and be doing a batch render from there......it does not work if you are rendering in the edit screen or any other screen except the "finish" screen.
When in that screen and after you hit the "Off" button, you will get a notice at the top of the screen that says, "Machine will automactically shut down when rendering is finished" This feature is very useful when doing all-night rendering, especially with the slower AVIO machines, and also when doing long High Def renders, etc.

If you can figure a way to burn a DVD from the Finish menu it will. LOL

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Technically under the 'Finish Menu' Title we have Finish and Arabesk
However this tip will allow the machine to turn off after it's rendered a DVD (DV or HD) project but not after the burn - however as this part of the process is reasonably quick it shouldn't really matter.

Seriously, as Michael mentioned you can still use the trick in Arabesk for the Add Film portion which is the real time consumer and then just burn the DVD in minutes in the morning.
