I am using a S-2000 and Bogart 2.4c and Columbus 3. I found an error in the Columbus 3 map of the Southeastern US in the western side of North Carolina. The map lists a town name as "Anderson" and it should be "Asheville". How can I correct this error? In addition, some of the town names are in black letters and others are in white letters. If I want, how can I change these colors?
Thanks
Tom Cox

Re: Columbus 3 questions
Hello Tom,
Just checked and using the 'Columbus 3' map (map included with the software) I could only find the USA (whole country) Map. Perhaps you are using 'Big Maps America' -- I did find 'Anderson' in that map (titled 'USA South-East +')
Regardless, to address your issues -- to correct the titles that are already part of the graphic require the developer to make that change and send you/us a software update.
You can however make a change yourself that will correct both this apparent misplaced city name and allow you to add only the names of cities you wish to display (all with the same color/s)
Select the map 'USA South-East' (without the state borders) or 'USA South-East Border' (with state border/s but no names) both these use the same map.
You can click to add your own text (city name/s) by clicking on a Key Point and then click the 'T' for Text button to add your own name/s (remember, you can set/adjust your font & style in the 'Text Attributes' settings found under the Global Settings menu (click on the globe and select).
And if you wish to add text to a map location without a Key point, you can use the 'Create new object' button which is new to Columbus 3.
Hope that helps!
By the way - I have begun shipping the newest Casablanca Expert Tutorial... Casablanca Foolproof Volume 5 - Columbus Intensive: Animating Travel Maps.
