ken burn's effect
I am an Avio user who is a bit out of touch. I'd like to use the ken burn's effect on some old photos. Is anything like that available for the Avio? I tried the "Zoom" effect with very poor results. Thanks for any info.

Re: ken burn's effect
To use the Zoom effect you must use just a very, very small amount of Zoom or it will degrade the picture quality too much.
You have to consider the natural resolution of SD video and realize any significant amount of "going into" the video (aka: zoom so you can pan and add motion) is going to give suck results.
Photo Studio is the only serious Avio software for this and you need to import photo resolution for this, not video resolution.
Frankly, you are better off using Pro Show Gold on a PC or laptop for Ken Burns effect work as it's cheaper, easier and more powerful that Photo Studio.
With that you can either create stand alone DVD end products if your PC has a DVD burner in it or port over the results to your Avio via RCA or S-Video analog if your PC/laptop has that capability and add it to your Project.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.
