Solitaire Ultra Upgrade 2 screen mode
Asking for a friend in the UK who has a Solitaire Ultra and up to and including Bogart 2.7e is unable to use the 2 screen mode and wondered if any NTSC user on v3 had been able to use 2 screen mode
Regards

Bet he has the menu set to other than VGA. Hold the right mouse down for a few seconds. Prompt will appear. One will be VGA. It is either #1 or #3 key on the keyboard......my unit is rendering HD right now and can't check.
Bogart has 2-monitor mode capability.

Re: Solitaire Ultra Upgrade 2 screen mode
Just a update, friend has all settings correct,it seems this problem relates only to the Solitaire Ultra which is why i posted here to see if it was just a Pal issue as it seems not many took this option in the UK and none seem to be on the UK Yahoo group

Re: Solitaire Ultra Upgrade 2 screen mode
Hi,
The only problem I have with my Solitaire+ Ultra (and my Renomee+ Ultra) regarding the 2 screens mode is, that the VGA monitor is only able to display 4/3 aspect ratio definitions...I don't know why...I made so many tests with various types of monitors, panels etc...tried so many brands...nothing to do...meanwhile MS still answer (like they are used to do) that this problem (among many others) is solved...
Cheers.
Vincent

Well,
If I remember, 16/9 ratio worked with the 2.4c version...but since none works anymore...but in 4/3, I think it has always worked...

Re: Solitaire Ultra Upgrade 2 screen mode
Just to add Vincent my friend uses the DVI connection and a VGA PC monitor with a switch box but has never been able to use the 2 screen mode.
Are there no NTSC Solitaire Ultra owners at all to comment ?

Ok,
my configuration is DVI & VGA PC monitor, but in your case the switch box is probably the cause of the problem...
