S-2000 Won't Burn DVD-R

I'm having trouble trying to burn a DVD-R on all 3 of my new S-2000 running Boagart 3.2c and Arabesk 4.9.
DVD Burner is HL-DT-STDVDRAM GH22NS50
Firmware is TN02

The S-2000 will burn a DVD+RW and will back-up the storyboard to a DVD-R


Here is what I have tried:
Doing a full install of the OS
Using Arabesk 4.6

The S-2000 will sometimes lockup and freeze and not be able to eject the disc and I have to use a USB stick and a VGA monitor to boot up and eject the tray.

Is there some sort of setting that conflicts with DVD-R's?
Format is SD 720x 480i 16:9 Interlace

I'm not aware of any problems with DVD-R, in fact I would guess that the majority of users use them. The fact that you can back up on one would suggest the system is working ok. Have you tried different brands? Are the projects on the machines all the same one? Have you selected the correct media?

So far I have tried Verbatium and Memorex brands. Neither have worked.

The projects have been different. They have been media recorded on MiniDV tape and recorded in real time using firewire.

What do you mean select"correct media".

Should my project be set to Interlace or Progressive?

I just using cheap Panasonic MiniDV cameras.

Firmware is TN02


Something does not sound right with the Firmware TN02. This should be 7.07 or something similiar. You may have suffered a reversion which occurred to me in the past. Contact MSUS support.
