Quick Question

Post by flvideo »

I have to take a clip off of a DVD master burned by Arebesk and I was wondering would the quality be vetter if I dumped the whole DVD and split out the clip I want or would it be just as good using another DVD player and just getting the clip I need? Thanks in advance. Bob....

Hello Bob,

Since your original was created in Arabesk, I would recommend using Ksebara. This function (now in the New button under Edit Menu) does allow you to select/check only the film/s you wish to import back into the Scene Bin. I would venture to say this will provide better quality than a stand-alone DVD player (especially if you did not have access to a DV equipped DVD player).

Regards,
Chet

Thanks Chet but I already did it. I had to have it in the mail this morning. I used a stand alone DVD player. When I get the time I'll experiment with the same clip with Ksebara. its probably not digital but I think its OK. It was a track that I don't shoot, they send me the tape and I edit it and send it back so I didn't have the DV tape. I wish I had that is better hands down. Thanks Again. Bob...
