Are Columbus maps actually jpg files? I am interested in using one in some testing in PIP and 3D Title work. Thanks!

Re: Columbus maps
Jim,
Depending on the Columbus Maps you are referring to... (there are the Columbus Maps included with the Columbus software, the Express Maps and the Big Maps.
Most, if not all of them can be used as a still image. Click on New (in the Edit Menu) and select Pattern, then select the Map Collection under Product you wish to use (either Columbus, Big Maps X, or Xpress Maps 1 or 2) and also select 'Type-Images' and then click Ok. Then set the duration (length) you desire and click OK again and you will have a scene that is your Map.
Hope that helps!
Regards.
Chet
