Vertical Scrolling Caution
I created nearly 200 plus titles and lines of a church's program cast names using the Fading-Vertical Scrolling title FX over a 5 min. black scene. After about 3/4 of the way through the render process, the unit (S-4100) crashed and rebooted. I trimmed the pages down to around 100 lines or less then it finally rendered.
I archived the long title fx so I could delete the "old page" and re-add latter. I tried this several times with the same result. The source footage is
1440 X 1080i HDV XDCAM EX1 and running Bogart 2.4c.
The odd thing is, I loaded the same full length archived title graphics into a 16:9 SD project, and it rendered fine (all 200 lines).
I don't know if there is a limit to the amount of lines or characters for animated titles in HD Bogart, but the scrolling title FX worked in SD.
I will try another full install after I finish a few projects to see if that fixes the issue.
I will do some more testing and pass it along.
Thanks.
